ANN MITCHELL Contemporary Irish Artist
Ann Mitchell is an Irish contemporary artist working in oil, gold leaf, and collage. Her large-scale portraits explore women as carriers of memory, erosion, and endurance. Work is held in private collections across Ireland, the UK, France, Canada, Australia, and the United States.
Mitchell is represented by Urban Oasis Art Gallery, Tullamore, and maintains The Far Room — a working studio and gallery in County Offaly, along the canal walkway. Not a white cube. Something warmer and stranger than that.
